Based in Montenegro in the Western Balkans, in the center of Europe, Wild Sherpas outfits motorcycle adventures in some of the most rugged mountains in Europe. We've been guiding here for over a decade, so you'll ride our own "Via Dinarica" on roads the big bikes fear to tread. Compact tours mean more riding and less downtime. Wild Sherpas?
Middleweight ADV bikes, like their legendary namesakes, are compact, agile, and climb mountains with ease. We're building a collection of sub-500cc bikes, starting with a renowned icon, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 411. It's a journeyman adventure motorcycle with a reputation forged in the high mountains and a perfect match for this terrain. The more powerful Himalayan 450 gives riders from all over Europe a chance to put this mid-weight ADV through its paces.
Bikes & Gear
For 2024, we have two models of Royal Enfield motorcycles available for tours and one for rentals. The Himalayan 411 is open for rentals, self-guided tours, and guided tours. The newer Himalayan 450 is available for guided tours in 2024. We have helmets, outerwear, and rainwear available for rent; prices can be found here. No experience with the 411? On Any Sunday
Inspired by the documentary "On Any Sunday," in the 1970's, I have ridden professionally and for pleasure for decades since. Wild Sherpas is a way to share my passion for motorcycling and love of Montenegro, where I have been guiding adventure sports for 12 years. In the photo I am riding a Russian-made "Planeta 5" on the outskirts of Moscow in the early 1990s.
